    Record 6 and watch a 7th (Sky Q 2TB boxes only)
  • For customers with 2TB Sky Q boxes, it is now possible to record 6 programmes from Live TV while watching a 7th programme.
  • By default, you will only be able to record 5 programmes while watching a 6th, in order to record 6 programmes and watch a 7th you will need to enable this by going to: SETTINGS > SETUP > PREFERENCES.
  • When enabled you will not be able to use split screen functionality or F1 Race Control. Live preview will also be unavailable in the Mini guide, and replaced with a static image.
    • Automesh
  • Ethernet connectivity is now enabled by default, the automesh will now automatically determine the best connection method to use.
  • The ability to choose which connection method to use has been removed.
    • Other
  • Improvements to help prevent missing thumbnail images and recordings not stacking in certain situations. Note: Further back end changes will be required in order to resolve this issue completely.
  • Firmware rollout commenced: Thursday 1st June 2017.
