Front Panel Reset
A Front Panel Reset is similar to a System Reset however it is initiated using a combination of button presses as oppose to using an option within the Sky Guideā€™s menus.

A Front Panel reset will erase the entire contents of your Sky+ boxes hard drive then re-format it, meaning you will permanently lose all Recordings, Series Links, Reminders and OnDemand Downloads. Buy&Keep purchases will be deleted however you will be able to restore (re-download) them by following the instructions at: Sky.com/restore

A Front Panel reset is usually used when it is not possible to perform a System Reset or a System Reset has failed to fix an issue.
